I have had this bike for around 11 months and due to upgrading, I figured it could do with finding a home with someone who may actually use it, rather then leave it in the shed gathering dust.

The bike is in good condition and has been well used, however it it might require a bit of TLC in order to get it back to it’s best.  A full service and tune up will probably set you back about 50 quid in most bike stores.  It might also be worth replacing the handlebar grips (£15) and worn break pads (£5).  I have also noticed that there is a slight creak when pedaling. I have had this looked at and it it was suggested that this was related to the bottom bracket.  You can get this cleaned as part of the service, and if needed shouldn’t cost more than £30 to have it replaced.  That said this bike retails at £650 so is sure to be a bargin, especially if you know a bit about fixing up bikes!

I have copied the below from a website selling the bike.

This is not just a road bike with flat bars – it’s much more than that! The ALP’s geometry creates a stable, comfortable bike that’s easy to ride, inspires confidence and tears up the miles with ease. The Fairfax uses the same advanced Hydro-Light frameset with smooth welds as the Mill Valley without the carbon stays, to give a lightweight compliant ride. Carbon forks give lateral stiffness for accurate steering control and absorb road shock.

One more thing, I would rather the bike was collected so that we don’t have to mess around with posting/delivery etc.  The wheels are quick release so it can quite easily fit in the back of a car.  If that is not feasible, the successful bidder can arrange and pay for a courier to come and collect.
